I got involved in Golden's when I purchased my first golden Northern Light's it Just Got Better in 2002, foundation dam of Goldenbrook. And that's were I found my love for Golden's. I the beginning my kennel name was Highwinds and didn't like the sound of it and I wanted something in the kennel name with Gold in it. And that I can up with Goldenbrook. I started showing Golden in the conformation ring in 2002. I produced my first Champion in 2004.
And I started breeding in 2003. With lots of hard work and dedication and to the AKC standards I plan to produce many more Champions in the future.
I am a small home based kennel located in NY state, in the town of Cicero. I am committed to only producing healthy, sound puppies with a true golden temperament. My primary guidelines are only to bred to those that are physically and mentally sound,and have been screened and cleared from health problems that are common to the breed determined by the Golden Retriever Club of America. Our breedings are carefully planned and all adults are certified with, OFA(Hips&Elbows), CERF(Eyes),SAS(Heart). I take pried in breeding all my dogs. I do not mass-produce them and only doing 1 to 2 litters a year. All pet puppies are sold on a Limited Registration. All puppies are raised in my home and well socialized before going home. I strive for compatibility between between our puppies and families for making a permanent,safe,loving home. I do require that all potential buyers to fill out and application. I also do require a non-refundable deposit. All puppies are sold on a first come, first serve basis to only to approved homes. There is only a refund if there is not a puppy available for you within 1 year of deposit. I only except deposit when I am planning a litter. All puppies are vet checked,wormed and give there first shots. They also come micro-chipped. All puppies sold come with a 2 year health guarantee on there OFA,CERF,SAS. All puppies will receive when they go home a "Puppy Pack", which includes contract/health guarantee,pictures of both Sire & Dam , food to get you started. Prior to going home, I send out a puppy care packet to get you ready for your new family member. This will be sent out when puppies are about 3 weeks old, which will include, pictures of the litter, puppy proofing your home, kennel and basic training and other helpful hints.
